Labs Planned Around the Work Inside Them

We design chemical and microbiology labs, R&D labs and production labs. The process starts with the people who will work there, and ends with a lab that is built, equipped and ready to use.

Process

From User Needs to a Working Lab

  1. 01

    Understand the Work

We start with the user needs: the tests, the sample flow, the equipment and the people.

  2. 02

    Translate Into Functions

Needs become functions: equipment placement and the infrastructure each instrument requires, within the constraints of the site.

  3. 03

    Detailed Planning

Architecture, HVAC, electrical and every other requirement for a functional lab.

  4. 04

    Supervise the Build

We supervise construction and coordinate with the project's architects and contractors through to hand-over.

Lab types

Labs We Design

Chemical Labs

QC and analytical labs with fume hoods, instrument rooms and controlled storage.

Microbiology Labs

Classified suites with airlocks, biosafety cabinets and environmental monitoring.

R&D Labs

Flexible benches and services that can change with the development pipeline.

Production Labs

In-process testing close to the line, laid out for fast turnaround.
